How to order - After we have communicated regarding your design concept, next steps are as follows:
1. Send an email to order@letterpresslight.com with your details.
Please include as much detail as possible as it increases the communication flow between us and allows for a faster turnaround between concept and delivery.
2. We will contact you to confirm the availability of studio capacity to fulfill your order.
We press each card by hand, one at a time, and due to demand and our goal to maintain the highest quality standards, our capacity is limited. Therefore, allow us up to 2 days to confirm studio capacity and availability.
3. We will email you a link to make a $200 non-refundable deposit (plus any custom design and plate fees if applicable), and email you an agreement on pricing and scheduling for you to sign and return.
The deposit and agreement are needed in order to set aside graphic artist time for your order and to reserve future studio time.
4. Upon receipt of the deposit and item specifications detailed in the agreement, we will prepare digital proofs for your approval.
For existing designs, please allow up to 4 days for us to send you a digital draft with your personalized font & color specifications. Digital drafts of completely custom designs will be produced according to our agreed-upon schedule as detailed in our agreement. Two changes to the layout of the initial proofs are included (text corrections are always allowed up until final proof approval).
5. You approve the digital proofs, and we prepare a set of paper proofs. Your signed agreement must also be received to proceed to this step (electronic copies acceptable).
Allow up to 3 days for us to prepare your paper proofs. (For designs that require custom pressing plates, allow 10 days for preparation of your paper proofs.)
6. We mail you a set of paper proofs.
This is one of the many ways in which we ensure 100% customer satisfaction. Your paper proofs will be produced exactly as your final product will be prepared, so you can ensure that your final items will look the way you want them!
7. You approve the paper proofs.
Once approved, we send you a link to pay your remaining balance (total price minus initial deposit). Because all orders are customized to your exclusive specifications, final payment is required to start and finish full production.
8. Once final payment is received, we start and finish full production!
After confirmation of payment, we begin production! We will confirm a mail-by date based on the quantities and deadlines contained within our agreement. You will be emailed a tracking number once your order is shipped.
9. You receive your hand-pressed pieces, produced to the Letterpress Lightâ„¢ exacting quality standards worthy of your special event!
